6.                  SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT 2007-08 (CARHART AREA)

Recommendation by the Police Department:  Approve Addendum Number Four with Nestor Traffic Systems for the installation of the four new approaches as outlined in Addendum Four.

8.                  FALL 2007 ADOPT-A-PARK PROGRAM

Recommendation by the Parks and Recreation Department:  Authorize the Director of Parks and Recreation to enter into Memorandums of Understanding with 23 local nonprofit organizations for the Fall 2007 session of the Adopt-A-Park Program.

9.                  RESOLUTION REQUIRED IN CONNECTION WITH STATE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FUNDING OF THE FULLERTON TRANSPORTATION CENTER PARKING EXPANSION PROJECT

(1)               Approve a budget transfer carrying forward appropriations to 2007-08 for previously ordered goods and services, for various grants, and for additional commitments totaling $2,080,636.

(2)               Approve a budget transfer increasing carry forward project appropriations by $8,053,520 to the 2007-08 fiscal year.

(3)               Approve a budget transfer decreasing the 2007-08 Police grant appropriations and revenues by $20,290.

(4)               Approve a budget transfer increasing the 2007-08 debt service appropriations by $430,800, with funding from various sources.

(5)               Approve a budget transfer increasing the 2007-08 Capital Improvement Program by $150,000.

 

Redevelopment Agency:

14.             REQUEST FOR REAPPOINTMENT OF JAMES BARNUM TO PROJECT AREA COMMITTEE #2

This item is a request for reappointment from James Barnum to Project Area Committee No. 2 (PAC 2).

Recommendation by the Redevelopment and Economic Development Department:

Pleasure of the City Council.

15.             RICHMAN SCHOOL LIGHTING AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT

Staff has negotiated a final agreement with Fullerton School District staff for the installation and maintenance of athletic field lights and associated field improvements on Field #1 at Richman School.  The agreement was unanimously approved by the Fullerton School District Board.

Recommendation by the Parks and Recreation Department:

Approve the final agreement with the Fullerton School District that will permit the City to install and maintain athletic field lights and make associated field improvements at Richman School.

16.             ACCELERATED TENNIS CENTER LIGHTING REPLACEMENT

Staff is requesting approval to replace damaged light poles at the Fullerton Tennis Center.

Recommendation by Engineering Department/Parks and Recreation:

Approve a budget transfer in the amount of $160,000 of Brea Dam reserve funds for the light replacement plan.

17.             CHILDREN'S LEAGUE AND FULLERTON COMMUNITY NURSERY SCHOOL FACILITY ROOF REPLACEMENT

Staff is requesting approval to replace the deteriorated roof at the Children's League and Fullerton Community Nursery School facility.

Recommendation by Engineering Department/Parks and Recreation:

Approve a budget transfer of Brea Dam reserve funds for the roof replacement.
